What Are We Looking For
We’re seeking someone with comprehensive experience in directional drilling techniques such as reading plans/DBYD's, locating services, associated civil and remediation works, and operation of hydro excavation units.
Additional qualifications such as Excavator Licence, Truck Licence - HC Preferred, VESI Training, RIW Card, Pit/Pipe Ticket, First Aid & CPR Certificate, and familiarity with the telecommunications or power industry are also highly valued. Directional Drilling VOC/Ticket preferred, and experience with F5 tracking system a bonus.
Start Date: ASAP
In addition to technical skills, we will be looking for reliability and punctuality, effective communication skills, the ability to work cohesively as part of a team, and adherence to HSE policies/procedures.

A: Typically, a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction and directional drilling supervision is required, i.e. having a comprehensive knowledge of HDD methodologies, techniques, equipment, and tools. An in-depth understanding of drilling safety protocols and procedures, and knowledge of relevant drilling legislation and regulations.
Q: What certifications and work tickets are required for an HDD Supervisor position in Victoria, Australia?
